This company was founded by Hyman Moscot, who arrived from Eastern Europe in 1899 began selling ready-made eyeglasses from a pushcart on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The company is run by fifth generation Zack Moscot and fourth generation Dr. Harvey Moscot, and has two stores in Manhattan and a few dotted around the world. Their clientele includes celebrities such as Johnny Depp, Sting, Lance Armstrong, Kanye West, Kiefer Sutherland, Renée Zellweger, Denzel Washington... and it goes on.
